Chocolates for Easter!
For sure, stores now have a special area dedicated to chocolate eggs and bunnies since it is the most in-demand product during Easter.
But before you go push that trolley 🛒, be overwhelmed, and decide which chocolate you should pick, take a look at this chocolate shopping guide before buying your Easter chocolates.
Green America together with other participating organizations conducted a survey from big chocolate brands that are mostly found in grocery stores and are big cocoa traders. The survey rated the companies based on these factors: deforestation and human rights abuses. More details here.
In summary, turns out Alter Eco, Tony’s Chocolonely and Whittakers earn the “Good Egg Award” for being a company that prioritizes people and saving the planet. A big thumbs up for these companies! 👍👍
However, the survey tagged some brands as lack of transparency for not participating in the survey.
