What We Offer
BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
Building Management System (BMS) / Building Management Automation (BMA)
Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)
As you are aware, the solar system in used accumulates dirt over the period of time. There are large numbers of mechanical and electrical components that are subjected to stringent stresses; thus, it is necessary that Solar OEM companies, which produces and manufactures these products, create a maintenance schedule to ensure uninterrupted and trouble-free services. Unfortunately, most of them don’t have any annual maintenance program in place.
Although the tier-1 products in themselves require little maintenance, it needs regular monitoring of its performance to ensure extended equipment utility. We recommend that the preventive maintenance should be carried out at least once a year to ensure that it continues its normal functions, and our company offers annual maintenance to all customers (irrespective if the solar system is purchased from another retailer) for these products.
Cleaning and health check
• Check make, model and serial number, inspect and record inverter readings.
• Each solar panel is cleaned, filtering out minerals to ensure streak free drying.
• Test of installation, VOC (Open Circuit Voltage) and ISC (Short Circuit Current).
• Check racking installation, insulation resistance and irradiance.
• Check MSB for CB and AC cable size, connections, and meter installation.
• Check AC and DC isolator integrity, connections, ratings, brand, correct polarity.
• Access roof to check panels for visual defects, configuration and earthing of the array.
• Check for roof leaks or damage to roof and remove debris.
• Supply a full report of tasks completed with photographs.
• Check for recalled electrical products and recommendations on any maintenance required.
What kind of dirt blocks sunlight:
• Pollution, dirt, dust, grime, lichen, and salt.
• Bat, bird and/or possum droppings.
You can recycle the following types of panels and equipment with our third-party provider: Monocrystalline Solar Panels, Polycrystalline Solar Panels, Amorphous Silicon Solar Cell, Biohybrid Solar Cell, Solar Mounting Racks, Solar Mounting Frames, and Inverters.
Not sure what type of a solar panel you have? Don’t see what you want to recycle listed above? As long as it’s solar-related equipment, we’ll help you recycle it!
Most systems have a typical life expectancy of 20 to 25 years. The efficiency of most systems declines anywhere from 6 to 10 per cent in the first 10 years and slightly more thereafter. You can recycle your solar panel or solar equipment at any stage – whether it’s in working condition or at the last stage of its life cycle.
Each solar panel has about 80 percent of crystalline silicon that can be recovered through a refined recycling process. The other recyclable parts include electric junction boxes, glass and plastics, and aluminium frames and brackets.
Once the solar panels to be recycled are collected, we deliver these to our third-party provider’s dedicated recycling facilities. As we understand that you might be concerned about illegal dumping and landfilling of unused solar products, we also ensure that every product that is collected gets tracked, audited, and reported by Australia’s longest-standing sustainability management company, our third-party provider.
Environmental Upgrade Finance
Our primary goal is to make the process easy for you by customizing and showing cash flow positive solutions. Let’s start with discussing Environmental Upgrade Finance (EUF), which provides up to 100% finance. EUF is a fixed rate, long term loan that gives you access to the capital you need to unlock savings. It secures the ongoing financial savings while improving the efficiency & sustainability of infrastructure.
Environmental Upgrade Finance covers hard and soft costs, offers loan terms between 4 – 20 years, let’s repayments be made via local council rates and be split between landlord and tenants. It does not require personal or business security. Who can apply? Any type of business with the building on rateable land (primarily a non-residential property) that can generate measurable environmental benefit upon up-gradation.
Similar to Environmental Upgrade Finance is the Solar Fund. It is a fixed rate, long term loan for solar PV upgrades to existing commercial buildings. It is a flexible and smart funding solution for commercial solar PV installations. It will allow you to make fixed quarterly repayments to the local council, be cash flow positive from day one, and won’t require a deposit or additional personal security.
