Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)

As you are aware, the solar system in used accumulates dirt over the period of time. There are large numbers of mechanical and electrical components that are subjected to stringent stresses; thus, it is necessary that Solar OEM companies, which produces and manufactures these products, create a maintenance schedule to ensure uninterrupted and trouble-free services. Unfortunately, most of them don’t have any annual maintenance program in place.
Although the tier-1 products in themselves require little maintenance, it needs regular monitoring of its performance to ensure extended equipment utility. We recommend that the preventive maintenance should be carried out at least once a year to ensure that it continues its normal functions, and our company offers annual maintenance to all customers (irrespective if the solar system is purchased from another retailer) for these products.
Cleaning and health check
• Check make, model and serial number, inspect and record inverter readings.
• Each solar panel is cleaned, filtering out minerals to ensure streak free drying.
• Test of installation, VOC (Open Circuit Voltage) and ISC (Short Circuit Current).
• Check racking installation, insulation resistance and irradiance.
• Check MSB for CB and AC cable size, connections, and meter installation.
• Check AC and DC isolator integrity, connections, ratings, brand, correct polarity.
• Access roof to check panels for visual defects, configuration and earthing of the array.
• Check for roof leaks or damage to roof and remove debris.
• Supply a full report of tasks completed with photographs.
• Check for recalled electrical products and recommendations on any maintenance required.
